Did you vote in the poll I put up a few days ago? The poll asked you what kind of weather was totally awesome, and the choices were: sunny with no clouds, severe thunderstorms with lightening, snowy out and clear skies, and swelteringly humid. I was inspired to create that poll because Houston was in the middle of a particularly fearsome thunderstorm, and a friend and I were discussing how cool/not cool it was. I posited that thunderstorms were perhaps the best kind of weather that there was, and she posited that I was a freak and sunny days were best. So to settle the score...
Sunny days won a total of 2 votes, which was 28% of the votes, and
Severe thunderstorms won 5 votes, which accounted for 71% of the votes.

About a month ago I was driving in that killer storm Houston had where there were lighting bolts all over our area and that wall fell down by your house, and the wind was hella intense and I couldn't see a god damn thing through the windshield and the car shook every time light flashed across the sky and people and old newspapers and plastic bags were flying across the street by the Galleria and I was like
THE WORLD IS FUCKING ENDING...

So maybe thunderstorms are favored by sadomasochists?
